About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience License: Valid and active state nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH Must-Have: - CVICU experience with Intra Aortic Balloon Pump - Swan Ganz - Epicardial Pacing Wire - A-lines and phlebotomy - PICC Lines - Chest Tubes - Vents, Tele, IV Start Description: Candidates must have experience working in a CVICU setting. Knowledge of critical care equipment, including IABP, Swan Ganz, and epicardial pacing wire, is required. The role involves direct patient care for cardiac, neuro, general, stroke, medical, surgical, kidney, liver solid organ transplant, and trauma populations. Staff will float to different locations as needed. A phone call will be provided 2 hours before each shift to confirm the facility assignments. The schedule will be sent to the nurse two weeks ahead of time. Candidates should be comfortable floating between locations. Compliance with COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements is mandatory. Candidates must submit two manager references upon application.
