Construction Project Engineer

We are seeking to hire a Senior Project Engineer to join our company in Santa Clara. You will be responsible for supporting the General Contractor in delivering a semiconductor test fab comprising a small fabrication facility and Critical Utilities Building. This is a long-term project approx. 2 years and an opportunity to forge a lifelong career with Atlantach Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate MEP or CSA work packages from design through construction, commissioning and handover. Review drawings, specifications, technical submittals, method statements and material approvals. Manage RFIs, design changes, technical queries and field coordination issues. Coordinate subcontractors, designers, vendors and other engineering disciplines. Monitor installation progress against the construction programme and key milestones. Lead site inspections and verify compliance with design, quality and safety requirements. Manage interfaces between CSA, mechanical, electrical, process and critical utility systems. Support constructability reviews, clash resolution and construction sequencing. Track procurement, equipment deliveries, constraints, defects and corrective actions. Support testing, commissioning readiness, snagging and system turnover. Maintain accurate engineering, quality and handover documentation. Provide regular progress, risk and technical updates to the Senior Project Manager. Authority: You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel. Carry out your duties to meet Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements at all times. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience 3+ years experience supporting semiconductor, advanced technology, microchip manufacturing, cleanroom, and/or other mission-critical facility construction projects. Experience creating documentation such as RFIs, and client correspondence on issues related to the notification provisions in contracts. Ability to read and understand construction plans and drawings and the technical specifications associated with drawings. Able to outline specifications required for submission to clients and ensure submittals and shop drawings are approved. Ability to prepare subcontract scopes and contracts. 1+ years working with cost control systems. #J-18808-Ljbffr
