Your expertise will be crucial as the district’s new SLP staff completes required observation hours for licensure.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Texas SLPA license in good standing
• Prior experience in school settings preferred, but not required
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced educational environments
• Familiarity with protocols for confidential student information
• Timely completion of Texas fingerprinting and credentialing, if not already cleared
• Flexibility and adaptability to shifting caseloads and assignments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language intervention services to students as directed by supervising SLPs
• Support varying caseloads and age groups as assigned (final details to be provided after upcoming district meeting)
• Carry out therapy goals and document student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other health professionals
• Utilize excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders
• Comply with all district and state policies, procedures, and reporting requirements
