C++ Developer

Our Client, a leading global quantitative investment company, has an immediate opening for a C++ Software Developer. Our Client is looking for serious C++ design, development and programming working with trading systems with the ability to work on multiple projects. This is a hybrid role that will require coming to our Client's office 2-3 times per week in NYC. Overview Join our Core Technology Team as a C++ Software Engineer, where you'll be surrounded by cutting-edge domain experts possessing entrepreneurial and problem-solving mindsets. This role is pivotal in building and scaling our central trading system, offering opportunities to embark on greenfield projects and enhance existing components. Key Responsibilities System Development: Develop various components of our proprietary trading system, including but not limited to exchange/broker connectivity, an order management system, feed handlers, a monitoring system, and build/deployment system. Collaboration: Work closely with the Co-CTO, team members, and end users, ensuring firmwide impact and gaining exposure to all areas of the firm, such as trading, data, research, operations, and risk. Feature Implementation: Partner with internal end users to design and implement new features and enhancements. On-call Duty: Participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot any issues arising during the trading day. Qualifications Undergraduate degree in CS, EE, or a related field. 7–10+ years of professional experience in software engineering using C++. Familiarity with C++ template metaprogramming Knowledge of distributed systems and network programming. Must possess systematic trading experience. Proficiency in designing and implementing C++ Standard Libraries. Why Join our Client?
