Dietary Aide - Newport Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Newport Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Christiana, Pennsylvania. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional food service to our residents, while maintaining a clean and safe environment. If you are passionate about working in healthcare and enjoy working with food, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Food Service or the Assistant Food Service Director, assist in the preparation and service of food
Follow a cleaning schedule to maintain a clean and safe environment
Transport food trays to the nursing units as needed
Provide excellent customer service to our residents and staff members
Qualifications:
Must be able to understand English
Must enjoy working with food and food preparations
Serious applicants with a pleasant disposition
Enjoy working with the geriatric population
Must be available to work rotating weekends and holidays
