Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Occupational Therapist licensure (OTR/L)
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings
• Strong knowledge of IEPs, IDEA, and school-related OT assessments
• Exceptional communication and organization skills
• Proven ability to adapt interventions to meet varying student needs
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students referred for occupational therapy services
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) with measurable goals tailored to student needs
• Deliver direct therapy and consultative services as outlined in IEPs, supporting students’ participation in academic and functional activities
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy into students’ daily routines
• Maintain detailed documentation and timely progress reports in alignment with district and legal requirements
• Advocate for students’ needs, adapting techniques and approaches to maximize their success in the classroom
