Design Engineer

Our client, a leading innovator in electric motor manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Design Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting the design, development, testing, and continuous improvement of electric motors and electromechanical systems. Working closely with Senior Engineers, Technicians, Production, and Quality teams, you will contribute to manufacturing support and engineering analysis activities, as well as assist with new product development and enhancements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong technical foundation, a passion for engineering excellence, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Job Title: Design Engineer

Location: Fenton, MO

Pay Range: $75000 - $90000

What's the Job?

• Analyze test results and provide recommendations for product improvements.

• Participate in reliability, performance, and root cause investigations.

• Assist with product configuration management and design documentation control.

• Support engineering change activities and product improvement initiatives.

• Create and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and technical documentation.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field.

• 1–3 years of engineering experience.

• Basic understanding of electric motors or electromechanical systems.

• Experience with design software and Microsoft Office applications.

• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems is preferred.
