CARPENTER – RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION
Breachway Building is hiring experienced, dependable carpenters for residential remodeling, additions, decks, and general construction projects throughout southeastern Connecticut and southern Rhode Island.
Responsibilities:
- Perform framing, exterior trim, siding, decking, window and door installation, and finish carpentry
- Read plans, measurements, and project specifications
- Complete work accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
- Properly use and care for company tools and equipment
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, subcontractors, and homeowners
- Work independently and as part of a crew
Qualifications:
- Residential carpentry or construction experience
- Strong measuring, layout, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of common building materials and construction methods
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Dependable attendance and ability to arrive on time
- Ability to lift construction materials and work outdoors in varying conditions
- Personal hand tools are preferred
- OSHA 10 certification is preferred but not required

Position: Full-time
Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30-4
Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience
Service area: Southern Rhode Island and southeastern Connecticut
