Job Description
The Department of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking an experienced AGNP or PA to join our collaborative team on a full-time basis. We operate in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment where quality, collegiality, and patient-centered caring come first.
The Role
As a vital member of our clinical team, you will manage admissions (H&Ps), develop daily therapeutic plans, and coordinate emergency care.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical: Order/interpret labs, ECGs, and diagnostic tests.
- Coordination: Serve as the primary contact for nursing and consult services.
- Documentation: Manage progress notes and daily orders.
Shift & Schedule
- Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
- Hours: Primarily 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Rotations: Every 3rd weekend; occasional holidays and nights.
What We're Looking For
- Credentials: Must be a PA or NP with Board Certification in Adult Gerontology Acute Care.
- Experience: Experienced providers preferred (New grads considered only with extensive Cardiology backgrounds).
- Education: Master's degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
- Licensure: Current MA license, DEA, and MCSR required.
- Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence and a team-first mindset.
