Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2+ years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS required (ACLS preferred) Must-Have Skills/Experience: Medical experience Description: Weekly orientations available. Unit profile includes 32 beds with a typical census of 10-20 patients. Patient ratios range from 4-6 patients per RN. Equipment includes Baxter IV pumps and GE monitors. EHR utilized is Meditech. Patient population includes geriatrics and adults. Common diagnoses treated include sepsis, pneumonia, heart failure, renal failure, and post-operative patients. Candidates should be flexible and demonstrate good teamwork skills. Required education includes nursing qualifications. Dress code mandates navy blue, royal blue, Caribbean blue, black, or gray scrubs. Undershirts must be black, white, or gray. Scrub jackets are mandated for outerwear. Unacceptable attire includes hoodies, sweatshirts, and fleece.
