The Senior Programs Marketing Coordinator works closely with marketing team members and programs team members to advance Chef Ann Foundation's (CAF's) healthy, sustainable, and equitable school food programming priorities and goals.

We ensure that school food professionals have the resources, funding and support they need to provide cook-from-scratch meals that support the health of children and our planet. To date, we've reached over 13,000 schools and over 3.3 million children in all 50 states.

The Senior Programs Marketing Coordinator works to develop and implement strategies to support the marketing and communications needs of a variety of CAF's programs that provide education, training, technical assistance, and grant funding for school districts and school food professionals. This includes leading program launches, advancing program recruitment goals, developing print and digital program materials, demonstrating the impact of programs through people-centered storytelling, developing communications for program participants and other stakeholders, managing program brands, and more.

The Senior Programs Marketing Coordinator will be part of a 5+ person marketing team. This position reports to the Senior Director of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategically manage CAF's marketing and communications needs for a variety of CAF's programs advancing healthy, sustainable, and equitable school food
• Contribute to maintaining CAF's organization-wide editorial planning and marketing calendar
• Develop plans for and execute program launches in collaboration with programs staff
• Manage CAF's website for school food professionals (The Lunch Box) content in collaboration with programs staff
• Manage program brands and creative assets (logos, photos, videos, print materials, etc.)
• Manage programs' print and digital materials production processes
• Tell people-centered stories demonstrating the impact of CAF's programs via blog posts, case studies, social media content, presentations, and more
• Support programs-related earned media efforts
• Develop and execute program recruitment campaigns
• Track and report on program marketing metrics; analyze performance metrics and make/enact recommendations for improvement
• Continuously assess and improve internal processes and workflows related to programs marketing

Position Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience managing marketing and/or communications, with nonprofit program marketing experience preferred
• Demonstrated experience writing and editing short- and long-form content utilizing copywriting and storytelling best practices
• Demonstrated experience building and executing omni-channel marketing plans and campaigns
• Experience managing marketing vendors and/or contractors (printers, photographers, designers, etc.)
• Basic understanding of print and digital materials production (e.g. differences between file types, resolutions, color formats, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of design fundamentals (e.g. what makes designs effective or ineffective considering communication goals)
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and GSuite platforms, especially on Mac OS
• Ability to work virtually; occasional travel required

Preferred

• Proficient in Canva and/or Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Experience managing data and/or workflows using Salesforce
• Experience managing websites

Compensation

Compensation ranges between $52,000 - $66,000 per year and will be commensurate with the candidate's previous experience and credentials. The Chef Ann Foundation is a great place to work and provides its staff with a competitive benefits package, including:

We are a fully-remote organization whose headquarters are located in Boulder, CO, with team members spread across the US. This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the U.S.
