Applications Engineer

Software Integration SpecialistJoin a leading manufacturing company in Madisonville, TN as a Software Integration Specialist. This position requires a seasoned Application Engineer with a background in automotive product design to assist customers from evaluation through product solution deployment. Responsibilities include collaborating with clients and internal teams to support product development and program launch.Lead customer technical engagements during pre-sales demonstrations, trials, and deployment phases.Translate customer requirements into detailed technical specifications, use cases, and validation plans.Develop and maintain technical documentation including application notes, guides, and manuals.Collaborate with R&D and product teams to customize solutions for manufacturing customers.Provide technical support, training, and knowledge transfer to ensure successful product adoption.Create and execute test plans, validation protocols, and support quality processes.Assist the sales team with project scoping and feasibility for customer opportunities.Maintain project tracking, issue logs, and status updates for stakeholders.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.5+ years of experience in manufacturing as an Application Engineer or similar role.Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.Willingness to travel to customer sites and service centers as needed.
