Childcare Center Business Manager

Kids Junction is seeking an experienced and professional Business Manager to join our team. This position will collaborate with our leadership team to facilitate accurate bookkeeping, billing, payroll and financial analysis to ensure our center is growing and meeting our goals.

This is a part-time position (20-30 hours per week) with flexible scheduling. Partial remote work will be available for this role after training has been completed.

Kids Junction Learning Center is a state licensed preschool learning center offering a rich preschool experience as well as child care / day care services in Madison WI. We provide all-day preschool for 2's, 3's and 4 year old Pre-K, as well as nurturing child care for infants and toddlers. Within our preschool curriculum we offer language arts, math, science, character building, physical education, field trips and exciting enrichment programs.

Kids Junction Preschool's mission is to partner with families to establish patterns of life-long development in mind, body and Christian character during a child's most formative years. In order to do this, we have created the best environment possible with a state-of-the-art facility and quality teachers in Madison WI, as well as a custom curriculum we created using the top learning resources and curricula available to deliver an all-encompassing learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day financial operations within the company (such as payroll and billing)
• Process bi-weekly payroll
• Perform financial planning and analysis to assist leadership team with budget planning, assessment of program goals and results and future planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• 3 to 5 years of related work experience with progressive responsibilities
• Proficient user of QuickBooks
• Experience with Paylocity payroll system preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
• Creative and critical thinking skills
• Demonstrated high character and trust

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
