Job Details Role: Warehouse Associate II Location: Ashland, VA 10462 Hickory Hill Road, Ashland, VA 23005 Shift: Monday through Friday 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Hourly Rate: $18.50 (plus a $1 shift differential) Responsibilities Unload and load incoming and outgoing trailers, operating powered lift equipment to move product and materials as needed. Store product by designating storage areas; adjust storage areas according to production and shipping requirements. Prepare product for shipment by verifying location, directing movement to staging area, and resolving problems. Verify product inventory reports by comparing logs and reports, adjusting entries. Document warehouse actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records; maintain databases. Monitor inventory by completing counts as required. Research and resolve discrepancies with shipments, locations, or product; locate missing product quickly and accurately to complete orders. Support other functions of the Distribution Center such as processing returns, invoicing, tagging shipments, inputting stats, generating reports, and building carts. Maintain a safe, secure, healthy warehouse environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and legal regulations; alert others about potential concerns. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (preferred) 1–3 years experience in a warehouse environment Ability to read, write, and identify colors, sizes, quantity, labels, SKU information Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills Excellent organization skills; ability to multi‑task and prioritize daily responsibilities Ability to learn Internal Operating System(s) and operate Radio Frequency (RF) unit Self‑starter with strong initiative; works efficiently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail Proficient typing and data entry skills Ability to follow directions and change priorities as business needs require Ability to work in a high‑demand, high‑volume environment and meet deadlines Able to work both independently and within a team Mandatory overtime as required, including weekends Benefits Paid Time Off: accrue weekly based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year; 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) plan with 1:1 match up to 4% of earnings; matched & vested at every pay cycle Short/long‑term disability coverage Paid maternity/paternity leave Physical Demands and Work Environment • Constant standing, walking, talking, and hearing. • Frequent lifting and moving up to 60 pounds. • Repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions. • Climbing stairs, kneel/squat, bend, carry. • Requires close, color, peripheral, depth vision and ability to adjust focus. • May wear headset and protective harness while operating equipment. • Basic English literacy required. • Work is usually performed under typical warehouse conditions, moderately noisy, with exposure to dust and weather changes.
