Job Description
As a Security Officer Part Time Front Desk Operations in Atlantic City NJ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As a Front Desk Security Officer at a residential location you will serve as a welcoming professional presence while supporting access control visitor management and security-related communications. You will use computer or tablet systems and may assist with alarm panel activity helping residents and guests feel supported. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents visitors and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures access-control protocols and emergency response activities at a residential location.
- Greet and screen visitors verify authorization manage guest and vendor access and maintain accurate visitor records in accordance with site policies.
- Monitor front-desk communications cameras alarms and/or other security-related systems and promptly report unusual activity or equipment concerns.
- Respond to incidents resident concerns and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
- Maintain a professional front-desk presence provide directions and general assistance and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent access-control practices.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
