Tax Director - Sales & Use/Indirect

We are currently recruiting for a Director of Sales & Use Tax/Indirect to join a large corporation headquartered here in Miami. This role will report to the VP of Tax and assist with indirect tax. There are excellent opportunities for growth and career advancement.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly sales and use tax returns
  • Maintain the Sales and Use Tax calendar
  • Assist in updating sales and use tax charts
  • Reconcile sales/use tax payments to GL Accounts
  • Resolve tax notices sent by local taxing authorities
  • Various related duties as needed

Requirements:

    xhyhwjd
  • Bachelors degree in accounting or related field (Masters in tax and/or CPA preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience with sales & use tax
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
