Store Manager in Training

Role Overview The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) is a development-focused role designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager position. Key Responsibilities Actively engage with your leader in Key Learning Experiences to support your growth and promotion path during the structured 16‑week program. Support the store as a management team member and lead in a manner consistent with CVS values and policies. Engage colleagues in supporting the company’s purpose of helping people on their path to better health. Accept promotion roles within the designated market, including the possibility of transferring to other CVS Pharmacy stores in the same market. Work a schedule that may vary based on business needs. Required Skills and Experience High school diploma or GED (required). Four‑year college degree preferred, or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree. Retail management experience or experience as a CVS Supervisor. Strong verbal and written communication skills to support and lead a team. Ability to perform customer care duties and deliver high levels of service. Experience executing merchandising strategies to support store sales growth. Proficiency in managing store inventory and assets to maintain profitability. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $18.50 – $30.64 per hour (base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary).
