Accounts Payable Specialist

Gillman Home Center is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to work at our headquarters in Batesville, Indiana. This person will handle high-volume accounts payable, and assist with account reconciliatons. It is a very fast paced environment and will require the person to be well-organized and have strong attention to detail. Essential Functions: Provide excellent customer service to our team members, customers and vendors. Performs routine accounting activities such as account reconciliation, preparation of various accounting reports and accounts payable functions. Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment. Process vendor invoices; matching invoices and entering into computer system. Collaborate seamlessly with vendors, customers, the sales and accounting teams and management. Assist with other projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibility: No Work Environment: This position will work inside at an office. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday. Travel: Local, to the bank and post office as needed.
