Quality Control Inspector – 1st Shift

Location: Pingree Grove, IL
Pay: $18.75 per hour
Schedule: 7:30 AM–5:00 PM, plus overtime as needed

Midway Staffing is hiring a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector for a growing manufacturing operation in Pingree Grove, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys hands-on work, and wants to grow their experience in manufacturing quality.

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will help ensure products meet required specifications and quality standards throughout the production process.

What You’ll Do

Perform initial inspections during production start-ups
Monitor quality-control requirements on assigned production equipment
Inspect finished products and materials throughout the production process
Use calipers and other precision measuring tools
Read and interpret technical drawings and product specifications
Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
Identify nonconforming materials and report concerns promptly
Work closely with production team members to resolve quality issues

What We’re Looking For

Experience using calipers and basic measuring tools
Basic understanding of quality-control practices
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer and data-entry skills
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
Ability to work overtime when required
