Director of Employee Relations – Global Culture & Engagement Overview Reports to the Managing Director of Global Culture & Engagement. The Director plays a central role in advancing a culture where people are at the center, strengthening relationships, building trust, and bringing organizational values to life. Responsibilities Act as a senior‑level People Manager and key member of the GC&E leadership team, shaping and guiding TNC’s global culture strategy through human centered approaches. Address complex relationship challenges, build organizational capacity, and foster environments where employees can thrive. Serve as a critical link between Legal, Ethics & Compliance and HR, promoting an equitable workplace of inclusion and well‑being. Lead efforts to foster positive employee relations globally, providing a resource for employees and conducting ER interviews across all time zones. Partner with Executive Leadership and stakeholder groups to develop and implement near‑ and long‑term strategies, interventions, and initiatives that promote performance, accountability, and engagement. Travel up to 40% within the United States and internationally. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of senior HR leadership experience. Professional experience in employment, compensation, benefits, payroll, employee relations, training & development, organizational development, and recruiting. Strategic planning experience in a decentralized, geographically dispersed, multicultural international organization. Experience working with international HR programs. Strong supervisory and people‑management skills; ability to motivate, set objectives, and lead staff. Training and facilitation expertise; experience leading projects and coordinating work of others. Proficient in MS Office; ability to construct and produce reports, manipulate data, and perform analysis. Certification or advanced training in coaching, mediation, or conflict resolution. Desired Qualifications Multi‑lingual and cross‑cultural experience. SPHR certification. Knowledge of federal and state legal compliance related to engagement and culture. Experience with case‑management systems and system implementation. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, stressful, highly visible environment. Strategic thinking and planning skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and strong client‑service orientation. Passion for serving others and engaging with diverse groups. Proficiency in developing and supporting relationship‑building across differences of power and privilege, including delivering workplace culture training and interventions. Salary For U.S. based applicants only, the starting pay range is $114,000 – $154,000 annual base salary, based on location, qualifications, and experience. For non‑U.S. applicants, pay ranges will be determined in local currency based on local labor market and not tied to the U.S. range.
