Dental Treatment Coordinator

Overview We are seeking a Dental Treatment Coordinator to connect and build trust with patients. The role involves explaining and advising patients about recommended treatment plans, reviewing pretreatment estimates, explaining balances, and collecting payments. The coordinator assists with financial planning, works with third‑party financing, verifies insurance, and schedules patients based on planned treatments. Responsibilities Manage the scheduling of patient appointments to maximize the dentist’s time and reduce patient wait times. Build and maintain strong relationships with patients by providing empathetic support, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Utilize the practice’s digital tools and paperless systems to improve accuracy in patient records, streamline workflow, and ensure timely communication with patients and the dental team. Act as a liaison between patients and the dental team, facilitating clear communication and ensuring all team members are aligned on patient care plans and treatment schedules. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of dental procedures, insurance policies, and financial options to enhance patient care quality and operational efficiency. Ensure all patient records, treatment plans, and financial details are meticulously documented and updated. Qualifications Clear, persuasive, and professional verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs. Strong ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to achieve common goals. Understanding of dental insurance processes, third‑party financing options, and financial planning to assist patients with their responsibilities and payment arrangements. Competency in using digital and paperless systems, dental software, and other relevant technologies to manage patient records, appointments, and treatment plans. Education and Experience Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice software. Experience in financial transactions related to dental services. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting. Ability to travel (up to three trips quarterly). Compensation Competitive pay of $65,000–$85,000 per year plus an incentive plan that offers the potential for six‑figure income. #J-18808-Ljbffr
