The Position Specifics


As a Line Cook, you are a key part of the kitchen team, responsible for preparing menu items accurately, safely, and efficiently. You'll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where quality and consistency are always the top priority.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Oakmont recipes and plating standards
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and proper handling practices
• Ensure all dishes leaving the kitchen meet quality, timing, and presentation standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, gas stoves, griddles, and mixers
• Keep your work station clean, organized, and ready for service
• Stay knowledgeable about all menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
• Support teammates and collaborate across BOH and FOH as needed

Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred
• Valid Food Handlers' certification
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food prep, and kitchen safety
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent quality
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of work station
• Must be at least 16 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
