Nurse Practitioner

Description Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Manager, the Nurse Practitioner is responsible for primary care to patients, acting as an assistant to physicians in the clinic, following established standards and practices. Hours: Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. What You Will Do Obtain complete medical history and physical data on patients. Interpret and integrate data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures needed. Perform a complete physical exam and record findings; collaborate with physicians in managing acute and long‑term medical needs of patients. Order appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures. Synthesize data to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plan utilizing principles of prevention. Administer medication and injections according to physician direction. Maintain and review patients' records, charts, and other pertinent information. Triage patient telephone calls and provide consultation. Perform diagnostic procedures (HSC, STP, biopsies) and artificial insemination. Perform ultrasound for patients during morning monitoring. What Is Required Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program. Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinic setting. Valid Nurse Practitioner License and ANA Certification. Strong written and interpersonal communication skills. OB‑GYN REI experience preferred but not required. Ultrasound and phlebotomy experience preferred.
