Learn more about our benefits.**PLM and CAD technology****Job Description:**Seeking a seasoned PLM Program Manager based onsite at our Santa Clara, CA campus with over 10 years of experience to lead and deliver complex software development projects, engineering design business process development and participate in digital transformation within a dynamic technology-driven environment.The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering and/or computer science background, deep understanding of software product development, and a proven track record of managing global cross-functional teams in a fast-paced tech company.Furthermore, candidate should have knowledge and good understanding in product development applications and business processes such as Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, CAD applications, systems engineering (MBSE), Model Based Enterprise (MBE) and Model Based Design (MBD). Familiarity with GenAI concepts, industry trends, and applications.**Qualifications*** Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and CAD applications* Bachelor’s degree in **Engineering**, **Computer Science**, or a related technical field.* **10+ years of experience** in program/project management within a **technology company**.* Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities.* Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.* Ability to translate technical concepts into business language.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Systems like Teamcenter and Windchill* Familiarity with CAD applications like UG NX, Solidworks, Inventor and Creo* Familiarity with ECAD applications like Zuken E3s, OrCAD, Altium* Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project).* PMP, PMI-ACP, or Scrum certifications are a plus.**Key Responsibilities**Engage closely with engineering and product development leadership, identifying opportunities for automation and business process solutions with positive impact to engineering productivity and design quality. Ensure effective and efficient execution of the project/ program to established guardrails of scope, timeline and budget. Track execution and compliance metrics and provide regular status and feedback to stakeholders Actively manage all aspects of project planning and execution in line with established processes and guidelines Work with line managers (Competency Center), Resource Management to staff projects and resolve staffing issues Actively manage and ensure compliance to project financial processes, reporting and escalation Conduct appropriate reviews to ensure documentation and solutions are of acceptable quality Manage project/ program risks, making sure they are identified, evaluated and addressed as per established guidelines Mentors and trains PMs. Is recognized as a subject matter expert in Project Management**Required Skills:*** Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Systems like Teamcenter and Windchill* Familiarity with CAD applications like UG NX, Solidworks, Inventor and Creo* Familiarity with ECAD applications like Zuken E3s, OrCAD, Altium* Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project).* PMP, PMI-ACP, or Scrum certifications are a plus.**Education:**Bachelor's Degree in engineering and/or computer science.**Experience: 10-15** Years**Location:** Santa Clara, CA**Functional Knowledge*** Regarded as the technical expert in their particular field* Demonstrates in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the function**Business Expertise*** Anticipates business and regulatory issues; recommends product, process or service improvements**Leadership*** Leads projects with notable risk and complexity; develops the strategy for project execution**Problem Solving*** Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business; requires conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions**Impact*** Impacts the direction and resource allocation for program, project or services; works within general functional policies and industry guidelines**Interpersonal Skills*** Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view**Additional Information****Time Type:**Full time**Employee Type:**Assignee / Regular**Travel:**Yes, 10% of the Time**Relocation Eligible:**NoThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
