2026-2027 Grant Part-Time Social Worker

Position: Part‑Time Social Worker (2) Location Hackensack High School & Hackensack Middle School Terms of Employment / Fringe Benefits Part‑time position from September 1, 2026 to December 18, 2026, up to 25 hours per week. Salary: $57.85 per hour. This position is 100% funded by the Mental Health Screening in Schools Grant and is dependent on grant funding. Nature & Scope of Job Responsible for a range of support services including: Assessing the needs of students Providing appropriate social work services Monitoring student performance Conducting individual counseling sessions Referral, intervention, and consulting with instructional staff to assist in providing strategies for student social and personal growth Coordinating services for and communicating with a student’s family and other social service resources Qualifications Licensed Social Worker Certification Experience in K‑12 education and SEL planning a plus Bilingual Spanish‑speaking preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Hackensack Public Schools
