Role Purpose

The General Manager is a dynamic, hands-on leader for Chick & Tender who ensures operational excellence, team development, and outstanding guest experiences across restaurant operations as assigned . In addition to leading standard restaurant operations, this role may take on key projects, off-site programs, and initiatives that strengthen Chick & Tender’s brand, service, and performance.

This position reports directly to the Area GM , with the Director of Operations providing guidance and support as needed to ensure success across projects and operations.

Core Responsibilities

1. Restaurant Operations

• Lead daily restaurant operations, including service, quality, safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and labor to meet business needs while maintaining a positive work environment.
• Ensure operational and financial performance, including adherence to budgets, COGS, cost controls, and sales goals.
• Maintain Chick & Tender standards in all aspects of the restaurant, modeling excellence for the team.

2. Team Development & Culture

• Coach, mentor, and develop store managers, assistant managers, and team members.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and guest focused culture.
• Provide consistent feedback, follow-up, and support to build high-performing teams.

3. Off-Site & Special Initiatives

• Lead and oversee Chick & Tender programs outside the restaurant, including catering, school partnerships, and stadium or community events.
• Drive execution of special projects and initiatives that support operational improvements or brand goals.
• Collaborate with leadership to implement best practices, optimize operations, and ensure consistent brand standards.

4. Other Duties

• Step in when coverage, transition or leadership support is needed as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support Chick & Tender operations, initiatives, and organizational goals.
