Payments Product Governance VP

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We need 5+ years of experience, or equivalent expertise, in Product, Technology, or Project Management.
• We require a strong grasp of risk management and controls, regional and local nuances, and governance expectations.
• We need demonstrated ability to understand and interpret market regulatory requirements to secure the necessary market approvals and operational readiness.
• We require experience with payments and/or treasury concepts.
• We need proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Preferred: proven success leading complex, cross-functional programs with multiple dependencies and senior stakeholders.
• Preferred: exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to turn ambiguity into clear plans, trade-offs, and decisions.
• Preferred: experience developing and executing regulatory testing procedures.
• Preferred: strong attention to detail and disciplined execution of procedural requirements.

• We conduct market research to understand local needs and identify product improvement opportunities.
• We maintain deep knowledge of our products and services so we can tailor collateral to specific markets.
• We communicate regulatory guidance to Product Managers to help ensure products meet risk and compliance expectations and launch on time.
• We advise on standards, methods, tools, and applications relevant to the regulatory environment so our products pass required risk and compliance checks.
• We build and maintain the product group governance operating model, including cadence, forums, charters, RACI, artifacts, and approval gates.
• We apply regulatory testing procedures and use judgment to handle complex cases where market eligibility is unclear.
• We develop and sustain working relationships with stakeholders across Legal, Risk, Compliance Operations, and Technology.
• We define and manage the process for maintaining product documentation across delivery channels and for audits, exams, operational risk reviews, change management, and policy and procedure adherence.
• We manage the industry-wide governance framework and identify inefficiencies to improve processes.
