Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (R) certification for an adult and pediatric acute care hospital setting.

Details

• Level II Trauma Center supporting adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, emergency department, and ICU patients
• Uses Toshiba CT equipment and EPIC documentation system
• 5x8 hour day shifts, Sunday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM block schedule
• On-call required as needed, approximately 1-2 call shifts of 4 hours per week
• Candidates will float within the hospital based on census
• Scheduling managed by lead CT tech and manager

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required, 3 years preferred
• Current BLS and ARRT (R) certification required
• IV start and venipuncture certification preferred
• CA license required in hand at time of consideration, if applicable
• Nursys report required, pulled within 2 weeks of consideration
• One professional reference required, within 2 years
• Proficiency in image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, and peripheral IV starts

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging across a range of studies including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, spine, and musculoskeletal exams
• Support special procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, drainage, CTA, and coronary CT when applicable
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• First-time travelers accepted
• Previous permanent staff at this facility are not eligible for consideration
• Requested time off must be submitted and approved in advance, with no additions after initial submission
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate if within 50 miles of the facility
