Exciting Opportunity for a CT Tech!

Job Description:


- Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30)
- Schedule: Sun - Thurs BLOCK
- On-call Requirement: Yes, as needed - 1-2 call shifts of 4 hours each per week
- Start Date: ASAP
- First-timers Accepted: Yes
- Years of Experience Required: 2 years
- Documentation System: EPIC
- Certifications Required: BLS, IV Start, ARRT (R)

Skills and Responsibilities:


- Proficient in 3D rendering techniques: Maximum intensity projection, Surface shaded displays, Volume rendering
- Conduct various CT scans: Abdomen, Chest, Pelvis, and more, with or without contrast
- Perform special procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, and coronary CTA
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume CT department
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary support: Physical Therapy, Radiology, Pharmacy, etc.
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions

Patient Care Details:


- Work with diverse patient populations: Neonates, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
- Handle a daily census of approximately 300 patients and manage an average of 135 visits per day
- Utilize Canon CT scanners (64 and 320 slice)

Additional Information:


- Pre-approved time off at the discretion of the manager
- Local candidates eligible at local rate - must be within 50 miles of the facility
- CA License in hand required
- One reference needed (within the last 2 years)
