Computed Tomography TechnologistAnsible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting for Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists to support the VA Long Beach Healthcare System (Tibor Rubin VA Medical Center) located at 5901 East 7th St Long Beach, CA 90822. Available shift schedules include days, evenings, and nights. Position pays: $62 - $67.09/hrResponsibilitiesIndependently operate CT scanner equipment to perform complex CT imaging examsPractice CT safety and radiation protection standardsReceive patients, explain procedures, and position patients appropriatelySelect and adjust technical parameters and accessory equipmentPrepare CT suites, ensuring sterile supplies and contrast materials are availableAdminister IV contrast under radiologist supervisionSend images to PACS, perform image post-processing and case editingMaintain patient records using Radiology VistA and CPRSQualificationsMinimum 1 year of current CT experienceCurrent ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certificationDemonstrated experience with IV and contrast injectionsCurrent BLS certificationPACS experience (AGFA preferred, not required)No sponsorship availableAll candidates must be able to: sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift. Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist. Lift up to 20 lbs. Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance.
