This executive will work closely with the President and Chief Executive Officer to establish and nurture essential partnerships with contributors and funders, driving the organization's strategy to meet local workforce development needs. The successful candidate will also collaborate with the Board of Trustees, Senior Leadership Team, and various stakeholders to build a diverse stream of philanthropic funding that supports the expansion of programs and the impact of the organization in the community. The ideal candidate for the Vice President of Development and Community Investment position at the company will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in fundraising and community engagement. They should have experience in fostering meaningful connections with a wide range of partners, including individuals, families, corporate entities, and foundations. A deep understanding of the construction industry, trade skills training, and the needs of the local workforce is essential. The role requires a candidate who can effectively communicate the tangible results of community investment, such as transforming lives, addressing skilled labor shortages, and strengthening economic opportunities. A background in nonprofit management, particularly in the areas of development and community investment, is highly desirable.
