Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) | Flower Mound, Texas

Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI)
- Demonstrated experience working within K-12 educational settings
- Strong knowledge of individualized instructional techniques and adaptive technologies for visually impaired students
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Flexibilityfloating positions require adaptability and a student-centered mindset
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and support services to visually impaired students in accordance with each IEP
- Travel between multiple school sites as needed, providing responsive services to a varied and evolving caseload
- Collaborate with general and special education teams to implement accommodations and modifications
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize students educational experiences
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, service logs, and compliance records
- Advocate for best practices in the education of students with visual impairments
