Senior Director, Revenue Operations

Role Overview The Senior Director, Revenue Operations (“Director”) is a hands‑on, global position responsible for overseeing the order‑to‑cash cycle. This role’s responsibilities include overseeing and optimizing revenue recognition practices, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and driving financial accuracy. Key Responsibilities Creates a positive team experience. Provides leadership and guidance to the global team to ensure all revenue cycle activities are performed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements and meet deadlines. Drives timely revenue close, prepares reports, and presents results to leadership during regularly scheduled meetings. Oversees and provides revenue recognition analysis and reporting for month‑end close process. Ensures compliance with and maintains documentation related to revenue recognition policies and standards. Analyzes enterprise‑wide revenue cycle trends and provides insight into strategic implications. Interfaces with principals and managers related to client contracts, billing requirements, revenue recognition, and customer account collections. Provides detailed insight into revenue fluctuations, investigating transactional drivers between forecasted revenue and actuals; works closely with billing operations and service delivery on root‑cause analysis. Timely identifies and problem‑solves issues as they arise and escalates as needed. Continuously monitors and enhances billing, collections, and other revenue cycle functions to optimize performance. Develops and implements policies and procedures for order‑to‑cash activities that are compliant with regulatory and organizational guidelines. Participates in process and system reviews and improvements, including integration of acquired entities and alignment of policies and procedures. Actively monitors compliance with revenue recognition policies to ensure compliance with GAAP and ASC 606. Assists with other projects as needed and other assigned duties. Qualifications Must have: Revenue recognition experience in a multinational firm with over 7,000 employees. CPA designation. Leadership skills. Billing implementation experience (Billing Platform preferred). Additional experience includes: Revenue recognition with strong knowledge of ASC 606; variable consideration experience a plus. Revenue/billing system implementation experience; Billing Platform preferred. Workday Finance Platform experience a plus. Large company and SOX experience required. Public company experience preferred. Executive presence, able to influence senior leaders. Knowledge of accounting across multiple currencies and jurisdictions. Excellent professional written and oral communication skills, keen attention to detail with strong decision‑making and analytical mindset. Intermediate skills in Microsoft® Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; exposure to accounting and billing systems; internet navigation/research.
