The Financial Systems group is responsible for the effective operation, maintenance and training of the corporate financial systems including Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Financial Data Quality Management, Enterprise Edition (FDMEE) and legacy applications. This position will report to the Manager of Financial Systems. Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide effective and efficient support of the HFM financial consolidation and legacy data collection systemsSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and forecast processes, annual financial planning cycle, and monthly systems maintenance, with periodic morning, evening and weekend workInterface with user community for training needs and troubleshootingManage/monitor data integrity by performing problem identification and resolution of issues related to financial applicationsApply knowledge of financial systems and business processes by recommending efficiency and quality assurance improvements to systems application usage or systems processesMaintain and configure application securityPerform maintenance of application metadata, FDMEE Mappings and reports for changing business needsMaintenance and support of the data submission application that supports data transfer to corporate from approximately 600 business unitsCreate and update detailed processes and procedures around financial systems to assure accuracy and timeliness of financial reportingParticipate in any system patches, upgrades or enhancements including updating test scripts, performing functional and application testing, understanding application/system modifications, and updating business process documentationCollaborate with internal customers to understand business needs and opportunitiesSupport Microsoft SharePoint sites facilitating metadata governance, security and document managementParticipate in SOX compliance auditsExperience and SkillsBachelor’s in Accounting or Information Technology is required2+ years of experience working with financial systems at a large corporationStrong understanding of financial processes, such as accounting close, consolidations and reporting, planning, and forecastingAbility to follow precise procedures and demonstrate strong attention to detail is crucial to job performance Ability to work 5 days a week onsite at the Glenview campus with flexibility in hoursPrevious experience working with a financial consolidation application; HFM preferredAbility to explain and interpret accounting/financial information from a business and technological standpointExcellent communication skills and the ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment are essentialStrong analytical skills to problem-solve and implement solutionsAbility to perform in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with SQL databases and SQL query language is a plus* ITW's Corporate Finance Systems Team is not currently hiring individuals for this position who now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status.Compensation Information:The compensation package for the role offers a competitive base salary ranging from $90k- $110k annually.ITW considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, geographic location, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.In addition to a competitive salary, ITW employees in the U.S. are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
