If this sounds like you, read more about whatyou'lldo, and theexperienceand skills you bring to this role below!We're currently looking for candidates with:Strong HR employment law and employee relations knowledge across multiple states – including New York and California – is preferred.Union/labor relations expertise, including collective agreement interpretation, grievance management, and employee relations in unionized workplaces, is preferred.Experience managing and processing payroll is highly desirable.What You Will DoServe as the primary HR Business Partner for assigned client accounts, addressing a wide range of HR and organizational needs, including but not limited to developingor reviewing policies, organizational compliance, compensation analysis, HRIS analysis or implementation, audits, recruitment support, performancemanagementand employee relationsandother HR functionsincluding payroll processing and oversight.Build andmaintainstrong trusted relationships with client leaders and stakeholders.Conduct needs assessments to diagnose client challenges andidentifyeffective HR solutions that align with client businessobjectives.Lead andfacilitateclient meetings to gather insights, present recommendations, develop HR Roadmaps, and drive decision-making.Respond promptly and professionally to client requests,demonstratingactive listening and clear communication.Manage client expectationsregardingtimelines, deliverables,scope,and budgetProactivelyanticipateclient needs and suggest solutions aligned with their business context.Support company growth through client expansion, retention,satisfaction,and direct contribution to Humani'sKPIs.Model the company's mission and valuesand competenciesin all interactionsSupport operational excellence through consistent processes, documentation, and standards the company sets.YourExperience:As an HR Business Partner with7+ yearsofprogressive client-facing HR experience, you bring solid leadership and business acumenwith a:Proven ability to manage multiple clientswhile tailoringyour approachtosuitdiverse client needs.Ability toleverageteam strengths to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.Work collaborativelywith Generalists, Senior HRBPs, and cross-functional team members to ensure seamless client service and collective problem-solving.Commitment to continuous learning development, actively seeking feedback and applying lessons learned to enhance overall effectiveness.Builds credibility through clear, honest communication that balances empathy with directness, influencing outcomes whilemaintainingstrong relationships.YourSkillset & Credentials:A degree or diploma in HR or related field.Professional HR designation ispreferred.Strong understanding of employment law across multiple states (California and New York preferred).Proactive self-management:You are expected to self-driven, managing your workload and meetingcompetingdeadlines with minimal supervision.Accountability and commitment to excellence:Consistently delivers high-quality, client-ready work with strong attention to detail.Takes ownershipoferrorsand ensures work isdeliveredon time and within budget.Problem Solving:HRBPs absorb a great deal of information about the client's business, sometimes working with limitedinformation,as such, you bring a keen ability toapply critical thinking,analyzeinsights,andput together solutions customized to the client'sobjectives.Strategic Communication and Influence:Engages effectively with diverseaudiences--from executives tofrontlineemployees—adaptingcommunication style tomeetaudienceneedsand strengthening leadership awareness across theorganization.TechnologyAbility to quickly learn new tools and platforms.
