Job Network is a program in which we receive students from the Department of Social Service and assist them in finding employmentthrough classes and wrap around services. Part-time Job Network adjunct faculty provide instruction tostudents with specific focuses on gaining employment, life skillsand success in the workplace. All classes are taught online or in person at either theCatonsville or Essex campuses . Classes are subject tochange depending on need and availability. All classes run duringdaytime hours from Monday to Thursday from 9:30am-2:30pm. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree and minimum of two years of experiencetraining/teaching adult students, knowledge of adult learning andbest practices. Demonstrated ability to teach a computer-assisted curriculum. Previous experience in working with hard-to-serve populations andteaching economically disadvantaged, or those with barriers isstrongly preferred. Daytime availability from 9:30-2:30 Monday through Thursday. Class Specific Essential Duties Primary responsibilities include class preparation, instruction,testing, and record-keeping/data collection for reporting.Instructors be comfortable working in a team setting and soloteaching environments.
