Workday HRIS Manager

We are seeking an experienced Workday HRIS Manager to lead the strategy, optimization, and day-to-day management of our Workday environment. This individual will serve as a key partner to HR and business leadership, balancing hands‑on system administration with long-term HR technology strategy while leading and developing an HRIS team. Responsibilities Lead the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the Workday platform. Manage and mentor a team of HRIS professionals, providing guidance, support, and career development. Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to identify opportunities for process and system improvements. Oversee Workday configuration, security, business processes, reporting, and system enhancements. Develop and execute the HRIS roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, user experience, and data integrity. Manage Workday releases, testing, upgrades, and change management activities. Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business decision-making. Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and adherence to HRIS best practices. Collaborate with IT and external vendors on integrations, system enhancements, and technical initiatives. Qualifications 7+ years of HRIS experience, including significant experience supporting Workday. Previous people management experience with a track record of leading and developing teams. Strong hands‑on Workday experience, including configuration and system administration. Experience supporting multiple Workday modules such as Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, Recruiting, Payroll, Time Tracking, and/or Absence. Strong knowledge of Workday reporting, security, and business processes. Proven ability to balance strategic initiatives with day‑to‑day operational support. Experience partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders and senior leadership. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and project management skills. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading Workday implementations, enhancements, or optimization projects. Experience developing HR technology roadmaps and driving process improvements. Strong change management and stakeholder management experience.
