About Flyover Attractions Flyover is an award‑winning immersive flying theatre experience that transports guests through the planet’s most epic places. The attraction utilizes flight motion seats engineered to swoop, dip, and turn, giving guests a feeling of flight, while a 65‑foot spherical screen provides guests with an unparalleled view across iconic locations and natural landscapes. Special effects—including wind, mist, and scents—create an unforgettable entertainment experience. Flyover attractions are located in Chicago, Las Vegas, Reykjavik, Iceland, and Vancouver, Canada. About The Role As a Retail & Admissions Team Lead, your goal is to facilitate a fun, engaging, efficient, and safe environment. You will act as liaison for management in the areas of Retail and Admissions. You will ensure that all staff follow the Standard Operating Procedures, coordinate coverage during the shift, train and participate in overseeing guest flow capacity. The wage for this role is $21 USD hourly and a full breakdown of perks and benefits will be discussed during the interview process. What You’ll Do Motivate and inspire Team Members to always bring their best, leading by example every day Ensure we are delivering impeccable guest experience Be a subject‑matter expert on the admissions and retail POS. Provide feedback to leadership if POS needs adjustments Coordinate team breaks and communicate with supervisors when in need of more coverage Keep safety front of mind and ensure team members are performing all of their duties as defined in Standard Operating Procedures Oversee efficient communication between management and the rest of the team regarding new products, discounts, promotions, memos, etc. Be aware of the groups scheduled throughout the day and make proper accommodations ahead of their arrivals. Coordinate with team to ensure seamless entry experience Assist in training new Ticket/Retail Team Members using Flyover training materials. Make recommendations for the training program Discuss with management if procedures, product mix or tools require adjustment Participate actively in making Retail and Souvenir Photo recommendations for product mix, capture guest feedback and work toward revenue goals Provide feedback to management regarding team member performance and strive to achieve operational excellence within department Communicate guest and ride‑related incidents to leadership and Operator when appropriate Desired Skills Comfortable knowledge of a POS system for retail and/or admissions Must demonstrate strong cash‑handling skills in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment Excellent communication skills Ability to problem‑solve, pivot and direct people High attention to detail Interest in leadership and willingness to learn Independent with high energy level Flexibility and ability to multitask Outstanding guest service skills Qualifications Availability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment Ability to lift loads of up to 30 pounds as necessary Solid knowledge base about Chicago and local area Experience in the tourism/hospitality industry an asset Public speaking experience is an asset Fluency in a language in addition to English is an asset Welcoming All Applicants At Flyover, we value a strong team built on respect and professionalism.
