Support physical and occupational therapy care by preparing the treatment areas with the proper equipment and materials, assisting patients, and performing procedures under the direct supervision of a Physical or Occupational Therapist. Prepare the treatment areas for patient care. Greet every patient who walks in and out of the office with a smile and treat everyone in our practice with SPEAR-IT. Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times. Follow the company SPEAR-IT values: Service, Passion, Empathy, Accountability, Respect, Integrity, and Teamwork. Show up ten minutes early and understand the urgency behind our patients’ need for help and healthcare. Actively listen to and proactively guide our patients through their exercises in accordance with Physical Therapists' exercise prescription with direct supervision from the treating Physical Therapist. Provide a clean and organized environment for patients, including laundry, supply of linens and clean hydrocollators, cold pack machines and other equipment as necessary. What Are We Looking For? Job Requirements Physical therapy technicians are responsible for supporting patient care by preparing treatment areas, gathering equipment and materials, and performing procedures under the direct supervision of a Physical or Occupational Therapist. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous customer service experience. Strong communication skills and ability to multi‑task. A strong attention to detail and willingness to grow. Athletic experience a plus. Physical Requirements Requires manual dexterity, general strength and endurance. Lifting – routinely loads of 5–35 pounds from floor to waist, waist to shoulder, shoulder to overhead. Carrying – routinely loads of 5–10 pounds for 40–50 feet.
