As a Therapy Technician, you will support physical and occupational therapy care by preparing treatment areas with the proper equipment and materials, assisting patients, and performing procedures under the direct supervision of a Physical or Occupational Therapist. Responsibilities Prepare the treatment areas for patient care. Greet every patient with a smile and treat everyone in our practice with SPEAR‑IT. Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times. Follow the company SPEAR‑IT values: Service, Passion, Empathy, Accountability, Respect, Integrity, Teamwork. Show up ten minutes early and understand the urgency behind patients’ need for help and healthcare. Actively listen and guide patients through exercises per Physical Therapist prescription with direct supervision. Provide a clean and organized environment for patients including laundry, linens, hydrocollators, cold‑pack machines and other equipment as necessary. What are we looking for? Physical Requirements Requires manual dexterity, general strength, and endurance. Lifting – routine loads of 5–35 pounds from floor to waist, waist to shoulder, shoulder to overhead. Carrying – routine loads of 5–10 pounds for 40–50 minutes. Pushing – routine loads of 5–150 pounds on casters, runners, or pulleys.
