Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• Travel experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Phoebe Putney and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Phoebe Putney.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in hospital med surg units.

Special Requests: - At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. - Must be 75 miles from the address on the driver’s license to the facility.

Unit Details: - Uses Meditech. - Includes telemetry patients. - Common diagnoses/types of patients: CHF, COPD, ESRD, pneumonia, renal failure, sickle cell crisis, orthopedic surgery, bariatric surgery, altered mental status, sepsis.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend required. - Holidays required.

Floating Requirements: - Floating occasionally.

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
