Production Associate
Quanex is looking for a Production Associate to join our team in Mounds View, Minnesota. In this role you are responsible for performing assigned production functions in a safe manner to consistently meet production standards and quality requirements.

What's attractive about the Production Associate position?
- 5:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Monday - Thursday) + 6:00 AM - 10:00AM (Friday, as needed)
- No weekends
- Encouragement for Vietnamese-speaking applicants to apply
What success looks like:
- Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines.
- Monitors product to ensure quality standards are being met and rejects product that does not meet quality standards.
- Keeps the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S standards.
- Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly completes production reports and other documentation.
- Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
- Assists in other work areas when the workload permits or requires.
What you bring:
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- At least 6 months of production, assembly, or related work experience preferred.
- Manual finger dexterity skills.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
- Displays a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.
The starting hourly rate is $17.11 to $21.39, depending on experience, with the possibility of up to a $1 pay increase after 90 days.
