Bank Teller - Glen Burnie, MD (BUR)

Provide members and prospective members with the full range of products and services, including depository accounts like checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust, and estate accounts. You will also offer lending products and credit/debit cards. Perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision and provide assistance or training to lower-level team members.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, research, and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts and loans.
• Assist members with submitting applications for consumer, mortgage, equity loans, overdraft protection, and credit cards.
• Counsel current and prospective members on the financial products and services offered.

• Customer service expertise.
• Experience in an inbound call center.
• Proficiency in banking and finance-related tasks.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience working in a customer service team environment.
• Ability to assist and train lower-level team members.

Work Environment

The role requires both indoor and outdoor tasks, including escorting members to and from the branch. The work environment is dynamic and customer-focused, providing a professional atmosphere for interacting with members and team collaboration.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Glen Burnie, MD.

The pay range for this position is $21.82 - $21.82/hr.
