Director of Applied Intelligence, Products Portfolio

Position Overview The Director of Applied Intelligence Products Portfolio plays a pivotal role in advancing Huron’s Healthcare Insights portfolio. The role sits at the intersection of product management, healthcare domain expertise, and consulting technology enablement. It focuses on driving value from insights that span revenue cycle, clinical, operational, and growth practice areas, while translating cross-domain opportunities into shared platform capabilities and client solutions. Key Responsibilities Stakeholder Alignment & Product Leadership : Serve as a connective leader across platform teams, domain product owners, data science, and consulting stakeholders. Facilitate structured conversations around prioritization, trade‑offs, and sequencing, especially where cross‑domain dependencies exist. Communicate platform value and common frameworks to diverse audiences and socialize progress, wins, and new opportunities to senior leadership. Consulting Partnership & Methodology Enablement : Partner with consulting leadership and delivery teams to design and support cross‑domain pilot engagements. Use these engagements to prove new insight‑led consulting methodologies, validate delivery patterns, and generate evidence of differentiated outcomes and client value. Translate successful patterns into reusable playbooks, enablement materials, and subscription‑based offerings. Cross‑Domain Use Case Curation & Governance : Identify, triage, and curate cross‑domain analytics and AI use cases that address complex healthcare challenges. Evaluate use cases through impact and commercial lenses, maintain a living prioritized portfolio, and partner with domain leaders to ensure use cases are grounded in real workflows and data realities. Portfolio & Platform Capability Roadmap Ownership : Identify recurring patterns across curated use cases that signal the need for shared platform capabilities. Own the portfolio and platform capability priorities, define capability boundaries and dependencies, and ensure alignment with technical direction and product value. Serve as the Product Manager for shared platform capabilities, translating cross‑domain needs into a clear roadmap. Execution & Continuous Learning : Partner with delivery and domain teams to ensure curated opportunities move forward with clarity, ownership, and momentum. Participate in backlog and planning discussions and use feedback from pilots and consulting teams to refine prioritization and direction. Qualifications Experience & Background : 7+ years in product management, strategy, consulting, or a related role focused on data, analytics, platforms, or healthcare solutions. Demonstrated experience working across multiple domains. Preference for background in healthcare analytics, consulting, or health‑tech platforms. Core Strengths : Strong ability to synthesize complex healthcare challenges into clear opportunity statements. Comfort operating in ambiguity, with a bias toward structured thinking, prioritization, and learning through pilots. Ability to influence without direct authority and align diverse stakeholders. Collaboration & Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to engage credibly with consultants, product leaders, architects, and executives, translating across healthcare, consulting, and product perspectives. Education : Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, Health Informatics, Data Science) preferred. Compensation and Benefits The estimated base salary for this position is $175,000 – $245,000 USD, with total compensation ranging from $218,750 to $330,750 USD when inclusive of annual incentive compensation. This role is eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans, which include medical, dental, vision, and wellness programs.
