Entry Level Phlebotomy Technician

Job Description Position: Plasma Donation Center Screener/Phlebotomist (part‑time). Duties include collecting plasma and screening donors, administering phlebotomy, maintaining donor records, supporting operational improvements, and accommodating a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays. Location: Harwood Heights, IL, USA. Work Type: Part‑time Employee. Shift length: 4–6 hours per day, 3+ days per week. Responsibilities Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor care ensuring safety. Screen new and repeat donors, record vital signs and finger‑stick results. Use Donor Information System, prepare charts, maintain accurate records, coordinate donor compensation. Identify operational improvement opportunities and initiate changes per company procedures. Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to walk and/or stand for entire shift. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, reach above shoulders and below knees. Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., occasionally up to 32 lbs., rarely up to 50 lbs. Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment at a distance.
