Candidates for this role will be motivated by our mission to make a cleaner and safer energy future, passionate about design thinking and digital ways of working, and to play a major role leading an innovative product line.Key AccountabilitiesParticipate in meetings with Vendors, Architects, System IntegratorsLead the DERMS platform/Study Automation engineering team Lead and collaborate with CDO and DPIT teamsLead the integration effort along with System Integrator teamsWork with Product Management team on roadmaps and resourcingContribute to the integration of software components into a fully functional software system.Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders on the development of digital products.Contribute to IT standards, procedures, and process.You'll provide support and mentorship to the engineering team.Qualifications15+ years of experience in software development5+ years of experience in leadership/management roles5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud infrastructure, On-PremExtensive experience with GitHub, Terraform, Docker, and KubernetesDeep understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure componentsExperience implementing/deploying/and maintaining COTS productsExperience extending IaC frameworks to deploy resources in cloud/on-premAbility to collaborate with cross functional teams.Hands on technical experience with .Net, React, TypeScript, PythonExperience using automated CI/CD pipelinesSeveral years of technical contribution and leadership in a structured team environmentAbility to give constructive criticism.Strong knowledge of the agile software development processAbility to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Solid communication and documentation skillsSalaryWaltham:$151K - $177K a yearBrooklyn:$162K - $190K a yearNational Grid utilizes an assessment that evaluates the job qualifications/characteristics using AI or statistically based scoring.
