Key Qualifications:

• Professional Vermont Teaching License, with one of the following:
  • Special Educator Endorsement
  • Special Education Consulting Teacher Endorsement
  • Intensive Special Education Teacher Endorsement
• Onsite availability, 35 hours per week, from August 19, 2026, to June 14, 2027
• Experience or interest in working with executive function, Autism, severe behaviors, and learning disabilities
• Ability to clear fingerprint/background check (district will accept recent approved school assignment fingerprints)
• Creativity, flexibility, and a collaborative mindset

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement tailored educational interventions for diverse learners
• Participate in a new pilot program supporting real-world readiness for high school students, including tech center integration
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of special educators, therapists, and paraeducators
• Foster social, emotional, and academic growth for students with varied needs
• Maintain timely records, contribute to IEP development, and communicate with families
