Field Service Dispatcher

Job Title: Field Service Dispatcher Londonderry, NH, USA Employment Status: Full-time Posting Start Date: 7/1/26 Req #: 67741 Job Purpose A Herc Field Service Dispatcher is directly involved in addressing equipment breakdowns in the field, coordinating activities of field mechanics, maintaining data on service calls, communicating with internal and external customers, inventory control, ensuring equipment is serviced at regular intervals, and daily business reporting for multiple locations. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated self-starters. Responsibilities Answer customer calls Set work schedules for field mechanics Prioritize, schedule and dispatch field service team across the Puget Sound Determine the severity of service requests and how best to address them Ensure mechanics account for their time and parts Parts purchasing and ensuring timely repairs and work orders take place Communicate with Herc locations when repairs should be charged back to a customer, filed as warranty or when equipment needs to be replaced in the field Contact manufacturers and outside vendors as necessary to complete repairs Communicate with internal and external stakeholders providing updates on repairs and services Other tasks, as assigned by management Demonstrate active participation in Herc Rentals Safety Culture, always prioritizing the safety of team members and customers alike Support all team members Learn and follow all company procedures and protocols Requirements High school or GED required Proven track record with a minimum 3-5 years of experience within the heavy equipment and/or construction markets preferred Computer skills to support entering information into systems Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Programs Must have good data entry skills Must have strong understanding of the logistics pertaining to the market and heavy equipment movement knowledge Prior Dispatch experience required Ability to effectively work on multiple assignments in the fast-paced environment of the construction industry Skills Strong interpersonal skills Teamwork Listening skills Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently Dependability Attention to detail Customer service focused Excellent communication skills Strong computer skills Pay Range Pay Range: $26.00 - $29.00 Per Hour Benefits Keeping you healthy Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage Life and disability insurance Flex spending and health savings accounts Virtual Health Visits 24 Hour Nurse Line Healthy Pregnancy Program Tobacco Cessation Program Weight Loss Program Building Your Financial Future 401(k) plan with company match Employee Stock Purchase Program Life & Work Harmony Paid Time Off (Holidays, Vacations, Sick Days) Paid parental leave.
