Cumberland Valley Surgery Center in Hagerstown, MD, is seeking an Anesthesiologist to join their team. Practice Info Same-day, multispecialty surgery center Longest-serving facility of its type for the community Features two treatment rooms for local/monitored anesthesia care and one operating room for general anesthesia Preoperative area and post-anesthesia care area Awarded America's Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers 2022 by Newsweek Case assignments include pain management, orthopedic, general, dental/oral, gynecology, plastic and reconstructive, podiatry, and endoscopy Responsibilities Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Compensation Salary: $425,000 (for part-time, salary will be prorated) Sign-on bonus: $50,000 Training assistance or loan repayment program options available Benefits Generous paid time off Generous benefits package, including: Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts 401(k) Profit sharing Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage Leadership and professional development opportunities Shift & Schedule Monday-Friday (8-hour shifts) No call No weekends Requirements M.D./D.O.
