Phlebotomist Float
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist float for its Rockville, Maryland location to perform blood collections across multiple sites. The role involves venipuncture, specimen processing, patient interaction, and administrative duties with a flexible schedule including some Saturday hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other analyses
- Prepare specimens for testing and maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Enter patient data, process billing information, and collect payments as needed
- Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3+ months phlebotomy experience or equivalent certification
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- At least 21 years old
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
